Thank you for sharing this information. I consider myself an amateur historian but I had to research the contested tattoo. And 25 years with the Navy and I can tell you I have seen many tattoos that sailors got on a drunk night with buddies.

I’ve always fancied myself as a history guy.

I read Black AF History by @Michael Harriot.

I trust nothing that I know.

I’m also a comic book fan.

History is like that.

The current arc is the DC Absolute universe.

Bruce Wayne is a common man who works in construction.

Diana Prince was raised in Hell by Circe since she was a baby.

It’s wild how fiction and non-fiction can be so intertwined.

Learning the new history from our old lineage is exciting, especially when you pick up from the survivorcentric voices.

I’m a Star Trek fanatic.

I’m on the full canon watch for the sixth time.

Since reading Black AF History, Starfleet is oppressive and Vulcans lie.

Well I guess I planted you and you grew. That was a fascinating history. People do see symbols that were meant to mean one thing but to each individual mean something else entirely. Is that why "it's the thought that counts" is so true?
