Meidas Touch is increasingly hiring young white men.
I feel like they’ve missed the memo.
America is moving in a Black and female direction, where the whole community fights for, has rights and representation.
Meidas Touch has contributors who they are willing to put their logo on, but not any actual advertising and effort to.
Suri Crowe is one.
I say she is the Meidas Touch #1 Contributor, because of all of them, I am watching her make content with none of the support or camaraderie of the Meiselas boys.
Meidas Touch is hiring an increasingly younger, whiter and more male contributor.
While they are turning to the younger audience and calling it Gen Z, they are really hiring the fastest dwindling demographic in America.
Young, white men.
What does the service of young white men give you?
Privilege.
Like the privilege of young white men who feel validated to take the lives of young Black men under the guise of friendship.
Meidas Touch contributor, Suri Crowe, who does cover the murder of young Black men, doesn’t get the respect or feature that she deserves.
Is she not young, white and male enough to be represented by the boys at Meidas?
She sure thinks that a group of Young White Men killing a Black man is important enough to cover.
Oh wait!
That’s the Meidas Touch Network target demographic!

Who was Nolan Wells?
On July 6, 2026, the body of 18-year-old Nolan Wells was recovered off Horn Island, Mississippi, two days after he went missing during a July 4th boat trip with three friends.
As of August 10, 2026, official state autopsy results remain legally sealed pending a Jackson County grand jury review, while an independent autopsy ruled the cause of death as “undetermined,” noting unconfirmed head discoloration amidst body decomposition.
No criminal charges have been filed in connection with Wells’ death.
Investigators are currently evaluating newly surfaced evidence, including deleted cell phone messages, 911 dispatch audio from his friends’ waterlogged boat, and a United Cajun Navy photo analysis of the island’s shoreline.
Again I want to highlight that Meidas Touch contributor Suri Crowe is covering the death of Nolan Wells, not as a curiosity of race, but as a citizen of the united states doing the journalism of concern that journalists naturally do.
The Meidas Touch is more focused on doing impressions and comedy routines through intense headlines and mediocre content.
Then they beg you for money.
Instead, they want to hire a bunch of young men who are going to opine about DC gossip from the perspective of whiteness, maleness and the audacity of youth.
A whole bunch of Adam Mockler?
MeidasTouch Network used a live feed from the NAACP to address Nolan Wells.
No commentary, no set up, no context.
They let Black people speak directly to Black people with no commentary, no coverage, no sentiments.
You can’t keep Ben or Popok’s face off of Katie Phang content where they take credit for her work and Nolan Wells can’t even get an R.I.P. from their mouths.
They just live fed Ben Crump speaking to local people.
Meidas Touch Network doesn’t deal with race, they just benefit from it.
Young White Men.
Meidas Touch can associate with women in their network but if they don’t have an already established audience, they will never get an intentional audience through exposure from the heads of the Meidas Touch Network.
Meidas Touch is marketing to Young White Men.

They promote themselves and get no rub from Meidas, other than an icon on the screen.
They are covering Nolan Wells without recognition.
Two people of color covering the death of a young man of color.
I am again pointing out that Meidas Touch themselves have done nothing about Nolan Wells.
Not even a small blurb of recognition.
This video was four weeks ago.
This is not a Meidas Touch contribution that includes the known members of the Meidas Touch Network.
In fact, they treat both Suri Crowe and the Ella contributions to midnight drops and random weekends.
They have women on so they can cite their diversity and go on to promote White Young Men, the fastest dwindling demographic in America.
Meidas Touch promotes whiteness and white privilege.
They boast about being independent and are not.
I have my bank of writing below.
They boast about being a news network and they are not.
They are connected to trad media, corporate messaging and the interests of the Democratic party in exchange for access.
They carry DC gossip and commentary from clip shows.
They don’t report about inside Gaza, they don’t report about the regular hanging of Black people in the contemporary south.
They don’t cover the news.
They cover the reality show that the Capitol has turned into.
They do Borscht Belt comedy for white people and call it news.

MeidasTouch isn’t missing the moment — they’re protecting their market. Real coverage gets buried, while the network keeps feeding the same narrow audience it claims to challenge.
Substack is turning into "mainstream media!" They are selling out independent journalism to whoever pays. I'm thoroughly sick of it. Maybe that's why little dicktator hasn't shut it down like he has the regular press. It's simply a pressure valve to make people believe that they are anti main stream. I'm in the process of unsubscribing to many of those who I thought could be fighting against the conglomerates. More fool me.
