Thanks Nick for spelling it out. I quit listening to Meidas Touch programming months ago because I noticed that they were claiming "exclusive" reporting when it wasn't. Then they starting advertising. That was the end. I hope other people they've made money off like Katie Phang and Allison Gill etc give them a wide berth in future. I guest they thought they needed the corporation but they don't! It just makes money off their content without giving them the credit. What they report from their hard work investigating, they take as theirs. It's not right and I'm glad you're using your platform to call them out.
I was only tuned into them in the past two years. How much does a Christmas card cost, especially when they probably bought them in bulk lol. It's a case of how the mighty have fallen. Finding truth tellers is not as easy as it used to be because they amalgamate and do it en masse. We have to sort the wheat from the chaff with a satirical eye now. It can be done but how many are willing to do it is the question.

Early on, we were desperate for any source of “Fuck You Trump!”
MT was definitely providing it so we subscribed (or followed, or whatever it was for free - we never gave them money).
Took about a month to get tired of the sensationalizing and anxiety-ridden level of excitement with every story somehow having them at the center of it - every single time.
About then, other well established journalists started jumping on SubStack so we just never looked back.
You compared them to Fox but for us they’re more like the Tv personalities in the original RoboCop and Running Man (IYKYK😄).
Just lowest common denominator pandering and shouting for shouting’s sake.
Yeah, what they’re doing isn’t illegal but it doesn’t have any value for us either.
I have NEVER followed, subscribed, or had anything to do with Meidas. At their best, they manaplain other people's headlines + news stories. For the life of me, I cannot understand why they're "popular" or profitable. Suckers aren't just Trump supporters.

I agree. I liked them better about 5 years ago when they were 3 brothers who sent me a Christmas card. Can you believe they did that!

Agreed. And as a longtime Mueller she wrote patron, I don’t think MSW network needs em. Meidas gains more than Allison Gill from that partnership.
