Americana, to me, is the Truman Show of MAGA that White people have been watching on TV for almost a century.

While people of color also lived in and watched the same programming, the shows were aimed at shaping white culture, which was more fractured in the sense that the family unit was implied roles in the greater community and less honest communication in the home.
